DAS Policies


Tuition Policy: Tuition is due monthly on the 1st of every month. If full tuition is not received by the 7th of the month, your dancer will not be permitted to attend classes until the full payment has been received. Tuition will be due on the first of each month without exception.

Late fee: If full tuition is not received by the 1st of the month, a $20 late fee, per student, per class will be assessed.

Registration Fee: In order to adequately plan for staffing and the upcoming dance year, and to reserve your child’s spot in each class,  a registration fee of $25 PER student is due at the time of registration.

Discounts: A discount is offered to families enrolled in 3 or more classes. See the tuition discount chart to calculate your savings. 

Costume Orders and Payment: Costume payment is due on or before the date listed on the calendar (hyperlink to calendar). Costumes will not be ordered until your student has been fitted and the parents have paid the costume costs in full. If payment is not received timely and the costume is delayed beyond the recital date, the dancer will not be permitted to dance in the recital and no refunds will be issued.


Vacation :  Vacation closures of the studio will be made in accordance with the attached calendar and in any event, with at least a month’s notice. Full tuition is still due in the months where the studio staff may be on vacation, even if there is no dance class. NO REFUNDS or CREDITS.

Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, the studio will follow the Somers Public School’s closure schedule. If Somers does not have school, the studio will not have classes. Similarly, if evening activities are canceled for Somers, the studio classes will be canceled as well. NO REFUNDS or CREDITS.  No refunds or credits at anytime . Make up classes may be offered at Owner's discretion.
